One thing which I would agree with you is that, as we have a soft corner for Jagadhish being known to us as the only ardent well-wisher of Kalki ( Angai and Anjana are voiceless before Udhay), our mind will tend to find all possibilities to justify his behaviour. To put in other words, we somehow try to find a convincing answer/solution that could justifyJagdhish's wish, make his love for Kalki attain success and would also be ethically right. So it's quite natural for us to explore all if's and but's in favour of Jagdhish.
